Mikhail Kulagin, BC Enisey guard:

Obviously we are all happy that basketball is back. It’s been a long time since our last VTB League match. We obviously tried to win, we fought hard but unfortunately lost a sprint to our opponents and couldn’t catch them.

Drazen Anzulovic, BC Enisey Head Coach:

I’m not happy with our performance today, though there are objective reasons as to why. I can tell you that Johnson returned to practice only five days ago after recovering from an injury, he also missed six month of basketball because of the pandemic and quarantine. Today we didn’t look physically prepared to play at the required level. This is one of the biggest things I’m unhappy with.

Our next home game is scheduled for October, 1st at Arena-Sever against Tsmoki-Minsk. Tip-off 19:30.
